  • Solid Waste Management: Operating systematic refuse collection using modern compactors at rapidly expanding growth points like Mahusekwa and Masomera.

  • Public Health Protection: Maintaining community dip tanks and monitoring public water systems.

Health & Social Services

We are deeply committed to the holistic wellbeing of our communities, bridging the gap in rural healthcare access.

  • Primary Healthcare: Equipping, managing, and staffing 19 rural health clinics across the district.

  • Emergency Response: Coordinating local ambulance services for swift transportation from remote clinics to major hospitals.

  • Social Protection: Running welfare programs targeting vulnerable populations, youth, and women, backed by our status as a Center of Excellence for Gender Mainstreaming.

Spatial Planning & Land Management

We manage the district’s land resources to promote organized, safe, and legal development in line with the Marondera Rural District Master Plan 2024.

  • Land Allocation: Surveying and distributing residential, commercial, and agro-residential stands.

  • Building Inspectorate: Enforcing structural safety standards and local building codes for all new developments.

  • Development Control: Ensuring organized urbanization at our major rural service centers.
